Cain signed autographs on the workers’ shirts. But Cain would NOT sign a petition to help the workers.
Why has Cain turned his back on these workers?
Cain is the UFC heavyweight champion.
Cain is Mexican-American and has “Brown Pride” tattooed across his chest.
Cain talks about "representing" and has been called a “Latino role model.”
But does Cain fight for more than money and title?
Will Cain stand up for what’s right like Muhammad Ali did?
Will Cain fight for justice like Cesar Chavez did?
Will Cain stand up to the Fertittas and tell them to stop their anti-union campaign against Latino and other workers at Station Casinos?
Ovidio Aquino began to wear a union button at work at Station Casinos on Feb. 19 last year. Then he was fired. He has continued to organize because he wants Latino workers at Station Casinos to have the same rights as other casino workers in Las Vegas.
Mario Medina, another union organizer, was also fired by Station Casinos. Mario is teaching his children to stand up for what’s right by standing up for his own rights as a worker at Station Casinos.
These fighters are not afraid. They are standing up for themselves, their families, and their co-workers against the Fertittas at Station Casinos.
